Fresh meat is slaughtered and processed on the same day in a chilled environment. It is immediately preserved after slaughter and continuously delivered to receiving points with refrigerated storage. The meat is kept at a temperature of 0 to 4 degrees Celsius and has a shelf life of 3 days from the production date.
