VISSAN, a member company of Saigon Trading Group, was originally founded on Nov 20, 1970 and went into operation on May 18, 1974. From 2006, the company will become VISSAN Limited Company, a strategic step in preparation for the coming trend of global trade.

VISSAN’s business comprises both the processing and trading of fresh frozen meat and meat-related foods, however, since September 2005 the taking over of Saigon Vegfruco has helped extend the company food range.

VISSAN’s products have had a firm foothold on the market thanks to large sale volume and a major portion of the market; the company is now holding the top position in Vietnam’s Meat Industry and Foods Distribution.

For sustainable development, VISSAN is open to cooperation with organization & individual at home or abroad for the production and export of vegetable, livestock and poultry meat along with other products processed from meat

Scope of activity:
- Producing and trading over 30.000 ton/year of meat product such as fresh & frozen meats, processed foods and canned foods from meats, seafoods and vegetables, … in local and foreign markets

- Apart from the raw materials sourced from its own subsidiary Enterprise, VISSAN has ample supply of young crossbred commercial hog, breeding sow and boar, swine seminal fluis and premixed feed.

Productive ability:
- A spacious holding pen for 10,000 hogs and 4.000 cattle.,

- Three hog slaughter lines capable of butchering 2,400 head/6-hour shift.

- Two cattle slaughter lines capable of butchering 300 head/6-hour shift.
- A 2,000 MT cold storage, meeting the demand of the processing plant.

- A cold cut processing line capable of producing 5,000 tons of finished products per year, the equipment imported and technology transferred from France and Spain.

- A Japanese technology sausage processing line capable of producing 8,000 tons of sterilized ready-to-eat sausage per year.

- A complete canning line, imported from EU, capable of producing 5,000 tons of canned foods per year.
- Meat Processing Enterprise in HCM.City with a capable 3,000 tons per year.

- Food Processing Enterprise in Tien Son IP-Bac Ninh Province, capable of producing 3,000 tons of various products per year and is operating under the management of VISSAN’s Hanoi Branch.

- Go Sao Pig Farming Enterprise was equipped modern technology with capable 2,500 breeding sows and 40,000 commercial hogs per year.

- 12 Units which located into the districts in Ho Chi Minh City and majority supplying markets that manage 300 shops.

- 20 Product Introduction shops, Supermarket and 600 Agents in Ho Chi Minh City and provinces throungh the country.

- Food Processing and Trading Enterprise produces and trades the Frozen Traditional processed foodstuffs.

- Vegfru Processing and Trading Enterprise.

- VISSAN’s Branch in Ha Noi produces and trades in the Northern markets.
